The Dossier/Enterprise Commander Server has various roles that can be assigned to users. Most of the user roles are by Dossier product but there are few general user roles that are applied system wide. Below is the list of all the User Roles arranged by Product. 

Dossier for Microsoft Lync Managers:

Lync Manager: This role provides users access to the Manager application tab.

Dossier for Microsoft Lync Enterprise Voice:

Enterprise Voice User: This role provides read-only access to the Lync Enterprise Voice and service manager application tab.
Enterprise Voice Admin: This role provides full access to the Lync Enterprise Voice application tab. 

Dossier for Microsoft Lync IM: 

IM User: This role provides access to the Lync IM application tab. 

Dossier for Microsoft Lync Conferences:

Conferences User: This role provides access to the Lync Conferences application tab. 

Dossier for Microsoft Lync Devices:

Devices User: This role provides access to the Lync Devices application tab. 

Dossier for Microsoft Lync Response Groups:

RGS User: This role provides access to the Lync Response groups application tab.

Lync E911 Emergency Alert:

E911 Admin: This role provides access to administering the E911 module.

Lync DID and EXT Range Manager:

Range Manager User: This role provides read-only access to the Lync Range manager application tab. 
Range Manager Admin: This role provides full access to the Lync Range manager application tab. 

Dossier for Users and Computers:

Commander User: This role provides access to the users, endpoints and sites application tab. 

Administrator:

Admin: This role provides access to the Admin application tab. 
Connector Configurer: This role provides access to be able to configure the connectors.
Connector Upgrader: This role provides access to be able to upgrade the connectors from the server.
Private Information: Users with this role will be able to see private information such as phone numbers and addresses of any user in the system.
Event Rule Configurer: This role allows users to set up or edit Event rules.
Lync Realtime: The role allows users access to view real-time dashboards such as live calls and live conferences across the system.
