Product Introduction

Enterprise Commander is product suite of PC discovery and profiling tools which are specifically designed to enable organisations to better understand their PC Fleets from operational, logistical and technical aspects. Enterprise Commander is a real time Configuration Management Database (CMDB) which is continuously updated without the need for manual inventory input or data maintenance.  Combining detailed information of PC hardware assets as well as real time usage reporting Enterprise Commander allows enterprise organisations better visibility and understanding of their PC environment.

Background/Context

Enterprise PC Fleet management is often a task that grows in complexity as the fleet grows in size, over multiple locations, regions and also over platforms. Often Configuration Management Databases (CMDB’s) require information to be manually entered, updated and monitored over time to ensure quality of data. Enterprise Commander removes the requirement for manual database management, provides real time information on PC Fleet hardware, its usage patterns and also provide alerts on critical status’ of each machine such as machines without Antivirus Protection, No Firewall installed and low memory state.

Benefits

The key benefits of Event Zero’s Enterprise Commander product are:

  • Automated, low cost creation and maintenance of broad coverage intelligence regarding users and PCs across the enterprise in the form of a real-time Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
  • Capability to interactively explore aspects of the PC fleet by properties of interest – supporting a range of different use cases in the provision and support of ICT services
  • Unique insight into the relationships between users/ groups and the ICT assets

Outcomes
