No Endpoints are appearing in the Enterprise Commander page
- Is the DMA Client agent installed?
- Endpoints require the DMA agent to be installed on endpoints in order to report data to the Enterprise Commander server.

- The DMA Client agent is installed but there is still no data appearing
- Check the DMA that is being used, the DMA requires a key to authenticate to the Enterprise Commander Server. The key can be set in the Global Settings tab, clicking on System Settings & clicking on DMA Configuration Properties. When installing the DMA you are prompted for the Enterprise Commander server address & the DMA Key.
Users
User details are not appearing in Enterprise Commander
- Has Active Directory been configured?
- Active Directory settings need to be configured within the Global Set-up window. A domain account is required to be entered & authenticated against so that user & machine information can appear within Enterprise Commander.
- Active Directory has been configured but there is still no user details appearing.
- The domain account which authenticates against Active Directory needs to be a valid domain account. Check if the account is locked / disabled within Active Directory. Event Zero recommends the use of a service / generic domain account for authentication purposes only, if a standard user account is used and is then deleted / disabled when the user account is no longer required it will break the Enterprise Commander authentication.
USB Printers
USB Printers are not being detected
- Are you licensed for Dossier for Enterprise Print?
- Dossier for Enterprise Print is a licensed product module, without purchase you will be unable to use Dossier for Enterprise Print features.
- I have a Dossier for Enterprise Print license but I'm still not seeing usb printers attached to endpoints
- Printer Discovery settings need to be configured within the Global Setup window. Click on System Settings and then open Printer Discovery Configuration. Ensure that Discover Directly Attached Printers is ticked. Once ticked attached printers will appear.
DMA Client Agent
How can I check that an endpoint has the DMA Client Agent Installed?
- Search for the endpoint using Enterprise Commander.
- Enter the machine name into the search bar to search for the endpoint.
- Look at the processes running on the endpoint.
- An endpoint with the DMA Client Agent installed with have two processes on the machine running called DMA. The first processes is a System process & the second is a User process. If these processes are present in the process list for the endpoint, the endpoint has the DMA Client Agent successfully installed.
