The Event Zero connector is installed as Windows services. The installer install two services:

• Event Zero Connectors
• Event Zero Connector Controller

The Event Zero Connectors service performs the monitoring and Synchronising functions of the Connector.

The Event Zero Connector Controller manages operations requiring Local System permissions for the Event Zero Connector, this process is also a watchdog process that manages the connectors resource utilization. 

These services can be found in the services window (Start > Control Panel > Administrative tools > Component Services > Services (Local))

These services run the following processes when running:

• Event Zero Connector: connector.exe
• Event Zero Connector Controller: controller.exe
