Bridge Guide

The Bridge software enables the collection of the DID/DDI numbers from user accounts enabled for Skype for Business or Lync. We use the same AD Sync Bridge as our UDM Pro product.

Hardware and Software Requirements

Ranger Bridge

The number of Ranger Bridge servers will depend on the AD design and layout. As a global catalog contains all the objects for its host domain and a partial copy of all objects for other child and tree domains in a forest, then usually one bridge server will be sufficient. For very large AD domains setting up additional bridges may be required. If you have any custom AD modifications that restrict the sending of key user details such as msRTCSIP-Line and msRTCSIP-PrivateLine to the global catalog, you will need to install multiple bridges.
