How to enable real-time in V4
Dossier for Microsoft Lync Enterprise Voice has real-time monitoring of calls to allow administrators to monitor the activity in their Lync Environment. This function is not enabled by default and will need to be configured to work.
Requirements:
- EventZero Connectors need to be installed on all your Microsoft Lync Front-ends.
- To enable real-time, the user will need to have admin role allocated to them.
Step-by-step guide
The real-time option will need to be enabled on all the connectors that are installed on Lync Front-ends. To enable real-time call information collection please follow the below steps.
- Log into the Dossier portal and navigate to Admin -> Connectors.
- Click on the connector that has been installed on the Lync front-end.
- In the connector page, click on the edit icon (shown below)
- In the connector edit page, Choose the Lync Realtime tab, tick the box next to 'Enable SIP Calls' and clikc Apply.
- Go back to the connectors page in step 1 and redo the above steps for all the connectors installed on Lync Front Ends.
- Once done, you will be able to see realtime call information under Lync Enterprise Voice > Calls > Live calls and Geolocate.
- Live Calls will show you all the calls that are happening currently and the state they are in.
- Geolocate will locate the call location on a map.
