Sites

Your site location details are entered here in order to have them appear within the Sites dashboard within Enterprise Commander. Sites are created and subnets of endpoints are allocated to the created sites in order to present accurate location based reporting.

            

 

Creating A Site

  • To create a site click on Add Site icon: in the sites page.

 

  • A site information page will appear on screen detailing the required information for the creation of the site, once completed click on the Geolocate button to locate the site on the map. 
  • Once all the details have been entered and the site has been geolocated. click Create new site.
  • The site will now appear in the Site list table on the Sites page under the Admin Application menu. 

Adding Subnets

A newly created site will appear in the Site list table on the sites page under the Admin Application menu. 

In order to have endpoints reporting to the site correctly we need allocate the endpoint to the site.

  • Click on Network Routes.
     
  • All subnets are group by their route (proxy), unless there are proxy's in your network that are required to be used, use the No Proxy route. Note: if there are a lot of routes, you can use the 'filter' on the top right hand side of the page to filter results. 
  • When you click on the number in the subnet column, you will be directed to a list of all the subnets in the chosen route. As before to help find a particular subnet, a filter option is available.
     
  • To allocate a site click on the 'Site name' entry for that particulate subnet. A window should pop up where you can start typing the name of the site and it will show you the matching sites.
     
  • Click 'OK'. Repeat the process to allocate other subnet sites.
