No Endpoints are appearing in the Enterprise Commander page

  • Is the DMA Client agent installed?
    • Endpoints require the DMA agent to be installed on endpoints in order to report data to the Enterprise Commander server.

  • The DMA Client agent is installed but there is still no data appearing
    • Check the DMA that is being used, the DMA requires a key to authenticate to the Enterprise Commander Server. The key can be set in the Global Settings tab, clicking on System Settings & clicking on DMA Configuration Properties. When installing the DMA you are prompted for the Enterprise Commander server address & the DMA Key.

User details are not appearing in Enterprise Commander

  • Has Active Directory been configured?
    • Active Directory settings need to be configured within the Global Set-up window. A domain account is required to be entered & authenticated against so that user & machine information can appear within Enterprise Commander.
  • Active Directory has been configured but there is still no user details appearing.
    • The domain account which authenticates against Active Directory needs to be a valid domain account. Check if the account is locked / disabled within Active Directory. Event Zero recommends the use of a service / generic domain account for authentication purposes only, if a standard user account is used and is then deleted / disabled when the user account is no longer required it will break the Enterprise Commander authentication.
