Reports are installed into Enterprise Commander as part of a Plugin. You should be familiar with the development of a Plugin as described in Plugins for Developers.

Prerequisites

In order to develop a BIRT report for Enterprise Commander you need to have:

• a working knowledge of BIRT
• Eclipse with both Pugin Development and BIRT installed
• an instance of Enterprise Commander

Resources

Your report may use resources such as BIRT libraries, style sheets, images and messages (for language support). In order for BIRT to find your resources at design and runtime you have to configure things correctly.
