We recommend backing up the C:\ProgramData\Event Zero\UDM Pro Server\properties.ini file before starting, you should have regular  UDMSQL backups but you should make a SQL backup before starting. The properties.ini file contains all the information on the SQL DB (from v2.1.4 the DB password is encrypted) and your license. You should you not have a note of these. have regular backups of the UDM SQL but you should take a SQL backup before starting

UDM Pro upgrade:

  1. Download the latest UDM Pro Server and Bridge installation files as directed by Enoten Support

  2. Run the installer UDMProServer-x.x.x.msi. on the server set up for the application.


  3. Click next and select the folder where you would like EZ UDM Pro to be installed, by default the application is installed under: C:\Program Files\Event Zero\EZ UDM Pro Server\


  4. Click Next and enter the License ID and Code this is in the properties.ini you backed up before starting.


  5. Click Next and enter the Database details are in the properies.ini backed up before starting. We do not recommend using an integrated account as this can cause issues.


  6. Test the SQL Connection and then click Next. In the next page Click "Install"


  7. Step through the installation and click finish once its done.

  8. EZ UDM Pro should start up in a few minutes after the installation has finished. You can verify this by opening a browser window and navigating to localhost on the server. You should see the EZ UDM Pro login screen.
    If the browser does not load the logon page then check the server.log file in C:\ProgramData\Event Zero\UDM Pro Server\logs
  9. The next step is to upgrade the Bridge server.
