This document provides information about the cloud service offering from Event Zero.

Overview

Event Zero provides a cloud service services for the Enterprise Command Commander products (including Dossier products). This means that the main service, data and web user interface are hosted by Event Zero external to your organisation. In order to function properly, most products will need a small on-premises component that communicates with the cloud service.

Hosted Services

Event Zero hosts the services at professionally managed data centres to ensure reliability and security. There is both physical security and logical security to access the servers with procedures in place to control both. The services accept data from your organisation and serve up the web user interface. The web user interface is accessible on the Internet only via HTTPS . They also have access to email services to email you alerts, reports ,etconly.

Where an on-premises service is required, for example to access Microsoft Lync data generated within your organisation, then a Windows component is installed on deployed to your servers as required. This is a signed application that opens a secure connection over HTTPS back to your the cloud service and is configurable by you via that cloud servicefor configuration and data transmission.
